The Saugeen Riverbank Campground has a great river access point to start your journey along the Saugeen Canoe Route.

We are located midpoint between Hanover and Walkerton on the Saugeen Canoe Route.

Starting in Hanover, the total trip takes about 5 hours and our park provides you with a nice place to stretch your legs and refresh before continuing on your way to Walkerton.

There are shorter excursions  available for the beginner.

$50 Night + HST

(Sleeps 2 adults)

Bunky is equipped with interior/exterior lighting, hydro outlet, a microwave oven, a bar fridge, a pullout bed couch, a picnic table, 2 deck chairs, a briquette BBQ and a firepit. There is water at the site but not inside the Bunky. The washroom is close by. The site has lots of shade. One car parking available on the site.

Kayaks are very stable in the water and provide you with the ability to maneuver the river upstream & downstream. Canoes on the other hand are very much limited to downstream travel only.

Our fishing kayaks double the fun by allowing you to do some fishing along the way.

Our 8 foot (Sit-on-top kayaks) double as a river tubing device, so you can float down the Saugeen River in style.
