The Saugeen Riverbank Campground has a great river access point to start your journey along the Saugeen Canoe Route.

We are located midpoint between Hanover and Walkerton on the Saugeen Canoe Route. Starting in Hanover, the total trip takes about 5 hours and our park provides you with a nice place to stretch your legs before continuing on your way to Walkerton.

We rent both Sit-on and Sit-in kayaks. These boats are very stable in the water and they also provide you with the freedom of going upstream as well. Most other boats are limited to travelling downstream only.

Our Ripper Sit-on Top Kayaks allow you to float down stream with ease just like tire tubing but a lot safer! 

We have 2 fishing Kayaks that double the fun by allowing you to do some fishing as well.
